Day 2: Merzouga to Boumalne Dades via Todra Gorge

After an unforgettable sunrise over the Erg Chebbi Dunes, we begin our journey towards the Dades Valley. We leave Merzouga behind and head to Rissani, a town known for its historical significance and bustling market. Here, we can explore the local souks and enjoy a break before continuing.

Our next stop is the Todra Gorge, a stunning natural wonder where towering cliffs rise dramatically from the floor of a narrow canyon. You’ll have time to stroll along the river and marvel at the breathtaking landscapes. After a relaxing break, we’ll continue through the picturesque Tinghir region, known for its lush palm groves and charming Berber villages.

After a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, we arrive in Boumalne Dades, where we’ll spend the night. This town is nestled in the heart of the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, such as the iconic “Monkey Fingers”. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views of this enchanting valley before a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades to Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains

After breakfast in Boumalne Dades, we start our journey back to Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco's most iconic landmarks. This ancient ksar, with its dramatic earthen architecture, has appeared in numerous films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We’ll explore the kasbah, admire its intricate architecture, and take in the spectacular views of the surrounding valley.

After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll continue through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers stunning panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. Along the way, we’ll pass through traditional Berber villages, where we’ll have the opportunity to stop and appreciate the local culture.

As we descend from the Atlas Mountains, we’ll make a final stretch towards Marrakech, arriving by late afternoon or early evening. The tour will conclude with drop-off at your hotel or riad, where you can relax and reflect on your unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
